10 Things the Gaming Community Needs



10. Anime Based Games other then Gundam and DBZ

Now don't get me wrong, I love the Gundam and DBZ games. It's just that I think that there has to be a little more variety with all the other anime out there.

9. Creativity

Yet again, don't get me wrong. There are still a lot of creative games out there, as long as it's a spinoff or sequel to a creative game anyway. -_-

8. Less Madden NFL

Honestly, I was never a fan of these games, but I've played a couple(09,08,06,04). And from what I can tell, IT'S THE SAME GAME EVERY YEAR! How many times can they keep making this game? I think it'll all be over by 2011.

7. Megaman X9

Come on, how many people weren't thinking that there should be X9. This way, both X and the original would be evened out. Plus, Megaman X is my favorite series. so, please Capcom, MEGAMAN X9.

6. 2d Platformers

I don't know why, but the gaming companies seem to be scared of making 2d platformers. I don't get it. The platformer is the essence of gaming itself. If it wasn't for the platformer, the only kind of videogames we'd have today would be text based. And we all know how fun those are. *sarcasm*

5. 8-bit and 16-bit graphics in console games

What's wrong with nostalgia?

4. Megaman Legends 3

People will hate me for this. Alright, we all know that as a Megaman game, Legends fails. But as a 3rd person shooter, it's actually pretty good, and I happen to like it. It's my opinion, not yours.

3. Altered Beast 2

I'm not talking about a sequel for the crappy European remake of the game, I'm talking about the classic 16-bit arcade/genesis version. This was a great sidescroller and was practically unbeatable without 2 players. I had a lot of fun playing this and sometimes pull out my old genesis to play it again.

2. DOOM 4/5

The reason why I put 4/5 instead of just one # is because I think there already is a DOOM 4 but I'm not sure. If you've read my top 10 VG Weapons list on here then you know that DOOM is my favorite FPS. Think about it. A DOOM game modeled after the original, but complete with next-gen graphics and a greater level of gore. It'd be so AWESOME!

1. Sonic Adventure 3

When Sonic made his leap from Genesis to Dreamcast, a lot of people thought that it would lead to disaster, boy, were they wrong. Sonic adventure had a great story, awesome gameplay, and some great graphics. Then Sonic Adventure 2 came along and was even better then the original! Plus, they were both remade on the Gamecube and were greatly improved upon. Then came Sonic Heroes. The spiritual sequel to Sonic Adventure 2. It wasn't a bad game, I actually liked it, but it was nothing to compare with either game. Honestly, I think the reason Sega hasn't made a Sonic Adventure 3 is because they don't want to tarnish the Sonic Adventure name.
